This page explains our sources, rights-handling, advertising and privacy principles.
ACOU·SIGNAL is an independent editorial directory for public calls for artistic works, festival submissions, residencies, grants and research programmes in electronic and experimental music. It links to organisers’ official pages and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the organisations listed. Organisation and programme names are used as plain text only to identify each call; all marks remain with their owners.
We independently rewrite public facts such as deadlines, funding and eligibility, then link to the official call. Information can change, so applicants must use the organiser’s official notice as the final authority.
We do not publish institutional logos, posters or photographs without permission. Send errors, rights complaints, removal or correction requests to the contact below; we will review them within a reasonable time.
When membership is enabled, we process email and verification status, selected roles, interests and regions, optional call-condition details, consent records, saved calls, and trial or subscription status. Birth information is limited to an optional year. These details are not public and are not used for ad targeting or shared with call organisers. Language choice is stored in the browser, and hosting or security systems may temporarily process access information.
Kakao AdFit advertising is currently served on Korean-language pages. Kakao and its advertising partners may process anonymised internet-usage information, including cookies, IP address, page URL, browser and device data, approximate location and ad interactions, to deliver and measure ads, control frequency and prevent fraud. Advertising does not affect search-result ranking.
After approval, we plan to use Google AdSense on non-Korean pages. Once enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this site or other sites. Google’s advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to select those ads. The same data may support delivery, measurement, frequency control, fraud prevention and—subject to consent and settings—personalisation.
When AdSense is enabled, visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland will receive accept, reject and manage choices through a Google-certified IAB TCF consent-management platform. A visitor who has consented can reopen the choice through Privacy & cookie settings in the footer. Google settings do not control Kakao AdFit, and browser settings can also remove or block cookies and local storage.
The language preference remains until it is removed in the browser. Security logs are retained only under the hosting provider’s policy and legal needs; emails are kept only as long as needed to answer, handle rights requests and meet legal duties. Free members can use basic search, official links and save up to ten calls. ACOU·SIGNAL does not list employment vacancies, provide recruitment, staffing or job-placement services, or collect résumés, applications or application fees. Call suggestions are free editorial proposals; organisers cannot pay to list or rank calls. Trial and Premium recommendations only compare user-entered facts with published call conditions; they do not decide eligibility or acceptance. Organisers retain final eligibility and selection decisions. Abuse, automated harvesting and use of another person’s account may be restricted.
Premium is KRW 2,900 monthly or KRW 29,000 annually. The 14-day trial starts only by explicit choice, needs no card, never auto-bills and returns to Free. The Toss Payments sandbox creates no real withdrawal. Live recurring price, interval, cancellation, withdrawal and refund terms will require separate consent after the additional contract, confirmed business details and legal review.
Newsletter, recommended-call emails and product updates each require a recorded optional choice. Marketing and recommendation messages will include a direct unsubscribe link and account-settings route. Essential account and security notices are kept separate.
Members can download their data, delete optional profile fields, withdraw email choices and request account deletion. Requests are completed except for the minimum data that law or dispute handling requires us to retain.
Sole-proprietor registration is complete. Confirmed business details and legal review are still required before operation, so only the trade name, representative, registration number, mail-order-sales information and refund contact entered in the operating configuration are displayed.
